    What is the workload?
Expect to spend about 3-5 hours a week working on the course.

How does an online workshop work?
-Once registered and the lessons start, you will be sent to a private post on my food blog www.closetchef.ca.
-You will also need a Flickr account.  There will be a group specific to this course where you’ll be able to share your photos!
-Discussions will take place within each of the lessons. You’ll have the opportunity to write comments which I will moderate and answer!
-The course runs from Monday – Friday and I will release the lessons on Monday.  I really encourage you to upload images to the flickr group

And don’t worry…you won’t have me pushing you or forcing you through the lessons. However, you’ll want to be committed to working through each lesson if you want to gain all that you can from this course.

    What will you need?
It’s best to have a DSLR and even better if you have a 50mm, 1.8 lens.  This is a fantastic food shooting lens.  You’ll need to sign up for a Flickr account. It’s free!  (Click here)

    How do I pay?
Once registered I will send you a link to purchase through Pay Pal where you’ll be able to pay by a variety of methods.  Visa, Mastercard etc..

Will I be able to network with other students?
Yes, you will be able to and I encourage networking.  Check out other people’s Flickr streams, blogs, twitter etc..

I’m concerned that the course will be more advanced than I can handle at my skill level.
Don’t be at all.  This is a place for you to learn, grow and do so in a comfortable environment.  The goal of this course isn’t to make you a world renowned photographer but to help you release the blocks that are stifling your creativity.  I think you’ll surprise yourself with how well you can do!

Is this course only for those who want to shoot food?
Nope! It’s definitely got a food theme as I’m primarily a food photographer but this will work well for those looking to shoot any still life pieces.  So it’s perfect for those who have etsy stores or other online stores who would like to get better photos.

Can I share the online course content with others?
No.  Please don’t!  This is exclusive to those who are registered to take the course.  Thank you!

please don’t hesitate to email me for further questions
